Central Valley F.A.M.E. (Federation for Advanced Manufacturing) is an employer-driven program developing highly skilled Advanced Manufacturing Technicians (AMTs).

Hands-On Experience

In partnership with Reedley College, Central Valley FAME is developing the future manufacturing workforce. The program features a hybrid work/learn model to weave technical knowledge with hands-on experience, allowing employers to recruit and train for their specific operational needs.

 

Students attend class two days a week and work on site three days a week, for a total of 1,800 hours of experience. Graduates demonstrate a  mastery in the Manufacturing Core Exercises (MCEs) of Safety Culture, 5S Organizational Management, Lean Manufacturing, Problem Solving, and Machine Reliability.
